Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who is leaving a mark on the screen. De La Garza born 1976 to an Irish mother as well as an Irish mother and a Mexican father from Columbus Ohio. De La Garza's character received numerous nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She has also been awarded ALMA Award nods. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her with the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in a drama TV series. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a short time afterwards. She portrayed Marisol Deko as Horatio Caine's wife. Her most recent TV appearance was in NBC's darker drama Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After just two episodes the show was canceled.
