Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in America. Her most well-known role was Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 & 2014. She has also played Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting at Preparatory School, before her family moved to Ohio in the late 1970's. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent one semester at British American Drama Academy. Anna started her acting career working in the Chicago area theatres for a short time. After that, she switched to TV and film. Anna got her big break in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden for the duration of 29 episodes on Down the Shore. She also guest-starred on the show. appeared in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. It wasn't until the late 1990s when she was cast in the role of The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood, which was filmed in the mid 2000's. In 2008 she was cast as Skyler on Breaking Bad. She also starred in the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn has also appeared on the stage for David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. in 2022 Gunn was a part of a four-part audio-play podcast known as "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and their eventual break up echoes last years of Walter White's story.
