Kirsten Simone is an American writer and actor from the United States. Her fame was based on her part as Penelope Garcia on the TV show Criminal Minds, a police procedural/crime drama. Kirsten Vangsness starred as Penelope Garcia on the TV series Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders as well as in its two spin-offs, including Criminal Minds: Suspect Behaviour. Though she's mostly acting on TV shows, she has also done some small roles in movies since her debut in the show business in the year 1998. The film industry is where she's famous for her roles as a character in "In My Bed", "The Chicago 8" as well as in "Kill me, deadly". Alongside writing articles for 'The Los Angeles Times', she's also the co-writer of three episodes in Criminal Minds. She often rescues and rehabilitates animals that are injured or abandoned.
